Rachel and Kirsty walk together to High Street, where an outdoor fiesta is being held. Kirsty leads Rachel past decorations and snack vendors to the front of City Hall, where the parade will start. Lucy, one of Kirsty’s school friends, offers her a turn hitting a nearby piñata, and she cracks it open. Among the sparkly confetti and sweets, Rachel spies an orange sparkle moving upwards and recognises it as a fairy when it lands on a nearby tent, letting Kirsty know as soon as Kirsty has her blindfold off. The girls greet Saskia the Salsa Fairy, who hides on Kirsty’s shoulder as the girls look for any hints of goblin green among the flamenco dancers at the front of the parade. Before they can look further, the parade begins and the first few groups go by - so far, no salsa dancing and thus no mistakes. But then comes a class of young dancers including someone Kirsty recognises from school, followed by an adult salsa group, and these people are stumbling a lot. Next comes a tropical-themed float with dancers dressed as birds, and Saskia realises that her ribbon must be on the float because these dancers are performing complex salsa dance moves with no issue. The girls duck into a deserted side street so Saskia can turn them into fairies, and they fly quickly to the float, hiding among the fake leaves.

Soon, they spot two short dancers who are performing extra well, looking closer to confirm the two are goblins. Saskia spots her Salsa Ribbon tucked into the colorful tail of one goblin’s bird-of-paradise costume, and Kirsty makes a grab for it. The goblins notice her and flee, leaping off the float and running towards some trees in the park. Saskia and the girls follow, keeping high enough in the air not to be seen, and watch the goblins climb into a tree, shouting about how well hidden they are. The second goblin, which Rachel recognised as the one who’d been guarding the Jazz Ribbon, begins squawking like a parrot as Rachel has an idea; Saskia can use her magic to help the girls blend in with the autumn leaves.

Saskia’s magic dresses the girls in leafy outfits and even turns Kirsty’s dark hair orange before the girls begin sneaking up the tree toward the goblins, who are now arguing about their bird impressions. Rachel manages to tug the Salsa Ribbon free and the girls carry it to Saskia while the goblins lunge for them, topple off their branch, and land in a big pile of leaves. Once Saskia threatens to turn the goblins orange as well, they leave in a hurry and Saskia is able to reattach her ribbon to her wand. She thanks the girls and turns them back into humans with their normal clothes and hair so they can go and enjoy the rest of the fiesta.
