  • Hi, hope you're doing well! I decided to go for it and create nav boxes for each series page. On Rainbow Fairies page, it's at the bottom. If there's anything that needs changing, feel free to change it or let me know. I'll probably work on the rest now but I'll probably need your help for filling in the information. (I was planning for each series, the navbox background colour goes up the colours of the rainbow)

  • Hi! I’m just an average rainbow magic fan, and I got a few questions that I hope you can answer, is Rainbow Magic still an ongoing series? Were Rachel and Kirsty real people or both of them were just characters? Where was Rainbow Magic created? And Why can’t I read a specific Rainbow Magic Book in my country? This is a few but you can answer if you can, thanks!

    • Hi. Yes, Rainbow Magic is still on going, with Maria the Mother's Day Fairy coming out in February and the Fun Fair Fairies are out in March 2018 and the Baby Farm Animal Fairies out in the United States in May 2018.

Rachel and Kirsty are just fictional characters, although reading the author's interview on Amazon they state that Rachel and Kirsty were based off two of her good friends in real life.

Rainbow Magic was created in the UK, the first series being the rainbow fairies published in 2003, while the same series was published in the US in 2005.

As stated in our FAQs page, since Rainbow magic was made in the UK, some of the books aren't released in other countries or continents, only a few I know are the US, Spain and Germany. I don't know why most books are unavailable.

  • Hi cool

What a treat being woken up to such valuable edits made by this user. The mobile version of wikia is a bit messed up right now so I can't delete things with ease. Please could you get ri d of all the pictures the user has added, and also the categories they've added? Sorry!

    • Haha, I know. I'm deleting the images and categories right know. They put infoboxes on our user pages. I don't know if you saw the message they left on my message wall.

    • Just to let you know I've made it so you can rollback edits. This means you can just undo the latest edit by clicking 'rollback' and it will undo it immediately. Hopefully it should be much quicker if something happens again.

        Loading editor
    • So you mean when a user vandalizes a page, I can click on rollback instead of undo? Does it work the same way or differently? Sorry.

        Loading editor
    • When you undo an edit, you usually have to go through that whole editing process and press publish, but rollback is where you just click rollback and it just undoes the edit, no previewing needed

  • Hi it is 2:45am :( as i write this. I've always been aware of different language RM books like swedish and japanese and german, but a couple of hours ago, I found the website that publishes the swedish version. here. It is a beautiful website with the publish dates too. combined with dodgy wifi, I've spent a really long time saving these beautiful (really high quality- the sharpest I've ever seen) book covers and putting them on the wiki. As well as the german covers PrincessRosalina put on the wiki ages ago, I made changes to Ruby the Red Fairy including the two covers and the different names. I don't want to keep pressure you into helping me add these covers to the pages, but if you do want to help (again, we don't have to rush. We did the publish dates and tabbers in one sitting but we don't have to this time) you could add the publishing dates and tabbers for some fairies. i've saved every cover as (UKfairyname)swedish.jpg, so it'll be much easier, (and for the german covers we might have to do some searching around) and also i made a swedish (Swe Flag) and german flag (Ger Flag) template (i'm too tired to find where to get the german publish dates) just in case. Feel free to do whatever you want to help. link to French Canadian amazon site for future reference

as for the other international RM books, I've found the wikipedia pages for the french and german series and there are others, but I'll find them another time. cheers

  • Hi. again, trying to make infoboxes better, I saw another thing on the anime wiki (it's popular all round many other wikis) where there are tabs to show different pictures. I did this to Holly the Christmas Fairy where there are different tabs to see the covers of the UK, US and Early Reader versions (this dude Tablewiz helped me out so that's why you might see the name on the wiki activity). If you like this idea, You probably want to help too so I'll tell you how to do it if you approve of it. It will definitely take a long time, having to go through 200+ pages doing it, so what do you think?

  • Hi if you see this right now sorry to bother you at nearly 1am. I was looking at an anime wiki and I saw something I really liked. They have a section in the infobox with flags showing what date it was released/published in each country. I decided to try it out, so there's Destiny the Pop Star Fairy's page with a combined US/Canada flag, or there's the Music Fairies page with just the US flag in case people don't know what that US/Canada flag is. I decided to do this because I saw the intro of the earlier series' pages are full of release dates and it's a bit messy. What do you think?

(also, check the dates section for the Rainbow Fairies)

  • Since Emma was published in the US first, should we make her the first US special edition? What do you think?

  • To CoolStar,

Hiya, I hope you're doing well. I'm not because I'm sure you've noticed (because of my new open letter to fandom users and annoyed replies to commets) that I've had it up to here dealing with preteens' cryptic/gibberish messages. But what do you expect on a wiki for a kid's book series? I blocked the wiki contributor who spewed out tons of comments today, as I looked through their history and they've messed things up pretty bad since the beginning of the month (and I saw all of their comments you deleted. You've been really busy. good on ya. "weirdstar1927" wow...don't want to think how they could manipulate my username)

I'll just let you know that Im going to take a few days off from the comments on the wiki, or maybe the wiki itself, because I'm getting kind of busy and also because I can't be bothered with comments anymore. I looked into protecting the wiki from fandom users but it's only reccomended in dire situations (and I don't think it covers commenting). I've noticed you're a little more active than usual, so feel free to deal with any fandom users who pop up A LOT with stupid edits and useless comments.

Thank you very much Cool! LexsJBTalk 17:25, February 22, 2017 (UTC)

    • Last night I contacted the community central people for information on stopping anonymous contributors and I didn't actually expect them to activate it straight away - I only wanted information on it. So now they made it so you have to log in to comment or edit. I read that this only lasts for 12 hours but I actually don't know how long the one on this wikia will last for. If it actually does last for more than 12 hours (past 10pm today) and we feel we should let anonymous contributing and commenting keep going, just tell me and I can contact them again. Just letting you know. LexsJBTalk 16:01, March 3, 2017 (UTC)

  • I've been deleting a lot of images because majority of them is the same bookcovers, but uploaded by different users (for example, the Pop Star Fairies covers I added a couple years ago from Scholastic Kids Club website cos I think they're brighter and clearer. I saw that LexsJB and Apthrodite Sweetheart added the same covers, but smaller images and with the sparkles, so the ones I uploaded I'm deleting).

Might sound like I'm complaining, but I'm kinda annoyed at seeing the same pictures and also irrelevant pictures. I won't delete the fan made fairies since they belong to other users.

    • Sorry about that. When I see a missing picture, I'm usually too lazy to look for the original picture (uploaded by you as you said) because it's hard work scrolling through previous images on mobile sized editing so I just add another one. Sorry! I'll look harder next time

    • Yeah, apologies if I made you mad. I can only upload images on my laptop. I usually click on the picture to see which user added it and if they did, then I use that same image for a different page so I don't upload the same thing.
