- The Brilliant Bracelet: helps children be nice to their mums and do nice things for them.
- The Handy Handbag: ensures that the gifts children give their mums are protected.
- The Mummy Mirror: prevents Maria from fading away. Without it, she will forget what her job is, so she won't remember mums she meets and how to help them.

Jack Frost's Poem[]
"I love my mum," the goblins squawk.
I can't abide their silly talk.
They spout such sentimental slop.
This mumsy nonsense has to stop!
Maria is the one to blame.
I'll take her things and bring her shame.
The goblin mums won't get a mention.
And I'll have everyone's attention!

The Brilliant Bracelet[]
Kirsty is staying with Rachel during Mother’s Day. They’re skipping down Tippington high street when they see a poster advertising a Mother’s Day picnic held by the Tippington Youth Club. When they go into the church hall, they find the children in the youth club sitting around bored, having given up wrapping their Mother’s Day presents. The youth club leader Eliza explains how no one’s bothered to partake in any of the Mother’s Day activities. Rachel and Kirsty decide to make cards to get everyone to join in, but soon, everyone’s enthusiasm drops again. They spot some daffodils sparkling and see a fairy is sitting in it. Maria introduces herself and explains how she held a festival in Fairyland to celebrate the “magic of mums”. The Goblins came along and joined in, but Jack Frost was annoyed they did, and stole Maria’s magic objects. She turns the girls into fairies and slide down the centre of a daffodil all the way to Fairyland.
After Maria shows the girls around her cottage, she takes them to the Ice Castle. There are goblins busy cleaning it so Maria disguises themselves as goblin cleaners to get inside. They learn the goblins are cleaning to make Jack Frost happy, since he is like a mother to them. Eventually, they get to the throne room and find Jack Frost sitting on his throne, wearing Maria’s gold bracelet. He mutters to himself how he stole the objects so the goblins would pay attention to him, rather than his castle. Rachel has an idea and asks Maria to magic up a gold-cleaning kit to polish the bracelet with. Rachel goes up to Jack Frost and offers to clean his bracelet and he gladly gives it to her. She hands it back to Maria and they all turn back into fairies and fly away, flying to Maria’s cottage.
The Handy Handbag[]
Maria has offered the girls a cup of tea while they think where the other objects could be. They decide to return to Tippington and find the youth club working hard at their Mother’s Day cards, but the gifts are broken, dirty, or missing. Kirsty spots Jack Frost dressed up like a woman followed by goblins dressed like children. He’s wearing layers and layers of clothes, which turn out to be presents children have bought for their mothers, as well as holding Maria’s handbag. The goblins are vandalising the town and annoying the people in the streets, much to Rachel’s distress.
Maria magics up a sign pointing to free cakes to get the goblins out of sight, and then she sends them back to Fairyland. Jack Frost is found hiding behind a post box, muttering how the kind of attention he’s getting from the goblins is too annoying. The girls decide to turn into goblins to annoy him even more and mentally break him. Jack Frost starts running away but trips on the hem of his dress, making him fall over and drop the handbag. Kirsty catches it and gives it back to Maria, and Jack Frost hisses at them and leaves. Maria disappears, saying she’ll come back soon to find her mirror, and the girls walk back to the youth club. Eliza lets them sign up for the Mother’s Day picnic, and the girls join the other children making cards.
The Mummy Mirror[]
The girls wake up the next day and get ready for the picnic, but see Maria tumble through the window, landing on Kirsty’s bed. She appears to have short-term memory loss, and looks in the mirror to see herself beginning to fade away. The mummy mirror helps her remember her job, and without it, she’ll forget who she is, fading away to nothing. Rachel tucks her in a bed from her dollhouse and the girls use their lockets to go to Jack Frost’s castle. They find a trap door and slip through it, but fall into a net. Goblins drag them to Jack Frost in his throne room, and lock them in hanging cages.
Jack Frost looks in the mirror but doesn’t see his reflection, but other humans. He hears the mirror talk to him about nappies and talcum powder, and throws it away, complaining how he only wanted to be the star of Mother’s Day, not actually have to be a mother. The girls suggest he gives the mirror back to Maria, then Frosty and his Gobolicious Band can perform at the Mother’s Day picnic. He agrees, with the girls promising to keep their promise. He magics them back to Rachel’s house, and Kirsty gives the mirror back to Maria. She perks up immediately and thanks the girls, leaving for Fairyland again.
The girls take Mrs Walker to the Mother’s Day picnic. They find a girl whose mum can’t be here today, and the girls see Maria’s face reflected in the pond, telling them not to worry about her since that her magic of mums is all around. Suddenly, they hear the screeching of instruments and return to the picnic to watch Frosty’s performance.
