Christmas Countdown[]
Rachel and Kirsty are hanging up Christmas cards in Rachel’s house when Mrs Walker enters with Buttons, announcing they can choose a Christmas tree this evening. The girls go to find the Christmas tree decorations when Rachel’s locket gets caught on a wreath and spills fairy dust over the both of them. They are magicked to Fairyland and are greeted by the Rainbow Fairies, the Weather Fairies, Doodle and King Oberon and Queen Titania. Rachel apologises for the accident but the Queen reveals she made it open as Jack Frost has caused some trouble. Holly introduces herself and says how Father Christmas wrote to Jack Frost saying he’d been naughty so he wouldn’t get anything this year, so he stole his sleigh, and three presents.
King Oberon gives the girls a crown that, when placed on Jack Frost’s head, will send him before the queen and him. Rachel and Kirsty return to Rachel’s house and that evening they go tree shopping. Holly appears but before they can greet her, Buttons runs off and the girls tell Mrs Walker they’ll catch him. Kirsty spots a goblin in the old barn and a sleigh shoots out of it, meaning Jack Frost was just there. Suddenly, the girls hear two goblins arguing over one of Holly’s presents, and Kirsty asks Holly to magic up a warm pie to lure them out of the barn. As the goblins realise they’ve been tricked, the girls escape and Button scares them off from chasing them further. Holly leaves for Fairyland with her present as the girls return to the farm.
Search for the Sleigh[]
The girls are getting ready to go shopping with Mrs Walker and find Holly on the top of the Christmas tree. She hides in Kirsty’s pocket and go to the shopping centre. Mrs Walker allows the girls to go around alone and they buy some presents. Eventually, they come across the Christmas display but watch a girl run out from Father Christmas’ Grotto upset, saying that Father Christmas wasn’t very nice. The girls decide to explore further so they sneak through the back of the tent to find Jack Frost sitting in the sleigh opening presents, surrounded by an icy set-piece. Goblins arrive to bring him more presents, but Kirsty spots a sparkly gold present at the back of the sleigh.
Holly magics herself into a present and when Jack Frost opens it, she bursts out, covering him and the goblins in fairy dust. Distracted, the girls run for the present, and Kirsty manages to grab it. Rachel almost manages to get the crown on his head, but Jack Frost orders the goblins to grab the girls and Holly as he rides off in the sleigh, creating a magnificent display in the shopping centre. As the goblins close in on the girls, they decide to run in opposite directions causing the goblins to trip over each other. Rachel and Kirsty pull out the ropes holding the tent up and it collapses over the goblins.
Holly thanks them for saving the present and tells them that she managed to speak to one of the reindeers pulling the sleigh, and he told her that Jack Frost's going to open the presents in his Ice Castle. The girls are determined to get it back, and she leaves for Fairyland. Mrs Walker is waiting for them and explains how the Christmas display collapsed. The girls prepare themselves for the visit to the Ice Castle the next day.
The Night Before Christmas[]
The next morning on Christmas Eve, the girls wake up to snow and decide to go outside and play in it. Holly bursts out of a snowball ready to take the girls to the Ice Castle. She turns them into fairies and they find themselves in front of the Ice Castle. Goblins guards line the castle and although the fairies can’t find any open windows to sneak through, they find a trap door. Holly magics it open and they fly down the stairs. A goblin sees them and calls out, getting six more goblins to help him. They manage to catch the fairies before they can fly away, and bring them to Jack Frost.
They find Jack Frost in the sleigh in his throne room with the present on his lap. However he’s too excited to open it than deal out their punishment, and the goblins are eager to find out too. Rachel manages to zoom away, distracting the goblins and Jack Frost. Kirsty quickly wraps up the magic crown before Jack Frost freezes Rachel’s wings, causing her to fall, landing on some goblins. Jack Frost proceeds to open the present, but Kirsty interrupts him, offering the present she just wrapped. He is eager to open a present from King Oberon, so he orders Kirsty to hand it over and he unwraps it, to find a grand crown. He lowers it onto his head, and vanishes!
The goblins hide, and the girls hop into the sleigh as Holly rides it through the ice room, back to Father Christmas’ workshop. Elves greet them and pet the reindeer, and Father Christmas thanks them for saving the sleigh. He and the fairies bundle into the sleigh and ride it back to the Fairyland Palace where the King and Queen are throwing a party due to the good news. Rachel gives King Oberon the present, and he explains he took away Jack Frost’s magic powers, and grounded him in the palace for a year. Two small fairies give the Rachel and Kirsty two of the magic presents, as it’s revealed they are for them! The other present is for Holly - it’s a new wand. Rachel's and Kirsty’s presents are fairies for the top of their Christmas trees that will bring them a Christmas present from the fairies each year.
The King sends them home just as Kirsty’s parents arrive to pick her up. The Walkers wave off the Tates as they drive away, and Rachel puts the fairy on her tree. It smiles at her, and magic sparkles appear from her wand, forming a present wrapped in gold paper. Rachel feels it will be the best Christmas ever.
