Courtney the Clownfish Fairy is the seventh and last fairy in the Ocean Fairies series.

Courtney has long, reddish-brownish wavy hair pushed back by a lilac headband. She wears a white top decorated with light green seaweed and aqua blue fish shapes over black leggings and lilac pumps. Her wings are light purple-tinted.

At a funfair on Leamouth Pier, Kirsty and Rachel try to look around for signs of fairy magic. Accepting a fish-shaped balloon from a clown making balloon sculptures, Kirsty notices a sparkle inside that turns out to be Courtney the Clownfish Fairy. The fairy teleports herself out of the balloon as the girls bring her to a more secluded area of the pier, and quickly showers them with fairy dust. Within moments they’ve been turned into fairies, given magic bubbles for breathing, and transported to a fairly shallow part of the ocean in the tropics. Beneath them, creatures from oceans around the world are having a sort of funfair of their own.
Courtney spies Tickle, her clownfish, among some anemones and calls out to him. The clownfish happily tells her where the last piece of the magic conch shell is, but before he can get it a chill passes through the water and an icy submarine looms over them. As the fairies watch, ten goblins emerge from the submarine’s hatch, followed by Jack Frost. All of them are wearing ice bubble helmets, and they all begin to look for the shell. Courtney tells the girls not to move towards the shell, because that will show Jack Frost where it is. Instead, she asks Tickle to start the funfair going again as a distraction, at Rachel’s suggestion.
The sea creatures, along with some extra funfair attractions conjured by Courtney, are enough to distract the goblins, but when Courtney and the girls begin searching through the patch of anemones Tickle had pointed out to them, Jack Frost sees them and approaches threateningly. Courtney conjures some extra-bouncy bubbles to push him away, which buys them enough time for Rachel to find the shell piece, but as soon as she picks it up Jack Frost encases it in ice, causing her to drop it.
Jack Frost takes the shell piece in triumph, but then finds himself surrounded by a swarm of clownfish led by Tickle. Soon all the fish are tickling him so much that he loses hold of the frozen shell piece, which Courtney thaws with her magic and takes. As she, Tickle, and the girls are about to leave, they overhear a goblin convincing Jack Frost to join the undersea funfair…and Jack Frost seems ready to admit that the ocean might be fun after all.
Courtney whisks Tickle and the girls away to the Fairyland Royal Aquarium, where she returns Tickle to his tank and the last shell piece to Shannon. The girls, all seven Ocean Fairies, and the fairy king and queen watch and listen as Shannon finishes reassembling her conch shell and blows her magical tune. Afterwards, Oberon presents each girl with a smaller conch shell that will play Shannon’s tune for them whenever they hold it to one ear, and Titania sends them back to Leamouth, where they find themselves as humans on the pier with their shells still in their hands. Kirsty’s gran joins them just in time to see dolphins jumping near the pier.Trivia[]
