I know babies cry a bit,
But goblin infants never quit!

Without my sleep I just can't cope,
The magic toy's my only hope!
Let royal babies cry all night,
But make those goblin tots sleep tight!

Rachel, Kirsty and Mrs Walker are visiting Mrs Walker’s friend Emily and her new baby, Jessica. However, Emily explains she’s tired because Jessica won’t fall asleep, so they leave her and go home. The girls go up to Rachel’s bedroom and see Charlotte inside Rachel’s dollhouse. Charlotte magics them into the house with her, and explains how Jack Frost has stolen her magic lion toy that helps baby princesses sleep well. She takes the girls to Fairyland to find a way to get it back, and on their way to Jack Frost’s Ice Castle, they see tons of fairy parents comforting their crying babies.
They come to the front door with a sign saying ‘Closed’, so they go to Goblin Grotto to find him. In the huts, they can hear goblin babies awake and playing happily - they can’t get to sleep either. Six goblins corner the fairies and steal Charlotte’s wand, imprisoning them in another hut. Rachel and Kirsty decide to trick one goblin into opening the door. They torture information out of him, and he reveals that Jack Frost is staying at Goblin Grotto while the Ice Castle is getting repaired, but doesn’t like all the goblin babies making noise so he stole Charlotte’s toy to make them stop, but it hasn’t worked. Charlotte tells the goblin she can show them how to use her toy properly, so the goblin takes the fairies to a hut where Jack Frost is staying.
On the other side of the village, they enter a hut to see Jack Frost quivering with sleep-deprived mania, and he refuses to let Charlotte help him. After he chases them out of his hut, the girls tell him that Charlotte promises to help stop the babies crying if he gives her the toy. He agrees, gives her the toy, and she magics up a special stuffed frog toy especially for goblin babies. She sends the goblin off to give it to the youngest goblin baby, and all the babies in Goblin Grotto start to fall asleep. Charlotte magics them back to the nursery in Fairyland to give the toy back to the baby princess. She returns the girls back to Rachel’s bedroom, when Mrs Walker enters and informs them that Jessica has finally gone to sleep.
