Kirsty’s gran has brought Kirsty and Rachel to a newly renovated lighthouse on the coast. When Gran sits down outside for a painting class, she suggests the girls explore the rest of the lighthouse. Remembering their previous adventure in Leamouth as they climb the stairs, Rachel notices a sparkly glow from under the door to the lantern room, even though the light wouldn’t be turned on in the daytime. Inside, they find Amelie the Seal Fairy using the lighthouse as a vantage point to look for Silky, her seal. She announces she’s spotted Silky and transports herself and the girls to the shore where he’s joined a pod of other seals. Due to the confusion caused by the broken magical conch, ocean animals like these seals, some pelicans, and a walrus are turning up here, far from their usual homes.

A rowboat with a makeshift flagpole approaches the shore, flying a flag with a picture of Jack Frost’s face. In it are three Goblins dressed as pirates, sorting through a pile of shells and tossing most of them into the sea. They clearly haven’t found any pieces of the magic conch, but neither have the girls, so Amelie sings a soothing song about the ocean to call Silky. He tells her the walrus is sleeping on top of the shell piece, and the girls try to gently wake the walrus up. When that doesn’t work, Amelie turns the girls into fairies so they can try tickling him with their wings.

The walrus rolls over just enough for the three fairies to see the piece of shell, but just then the goblin rowboat crashes into some rocks and begins to sink slowly. The scared goblins begin climbing the flagpole, until Amelie patches the hole in their boat with seaweed and Kirsty directs them to a safe place where they can tie the boat up. But in all the distraction, the walrus has lumbered away and the shell piece is missing. The goblins are the first to notice the shell piece in the mouth of a seal pup, and they and the fairies give chase. Amelie reaches the pup first, but he refuses to give her the shell and is promptly grabbed by two goblins.

As the goblins carry the struggling pup to their boat and begin to row away, Amelie calls the rest of the seals to help. They keep bumping the boat and lift it on their noses until the goblins agree to let the seal and the shell piece go. The pup gives the shell piece to Silky as the goblins leave, and Silky in turn gives the piece to Amelie. She brings Silky and the girls to Fairyland in a whirl of magic, where the girls see Silky and Echo reunited at the aquarium and Shannon joins the two recovered shell pieces together with her wand. Returning to the base of the lighthouse stairs as humans, Rachel and Kirsty find that Kirsty’s gran has painted a picture of the pod of seals.
